Gallipoli, Marschall Liman von Sanders Pascha, 1915-1916, in dark bronze (98mm), by Max Lange 1916, obverse, facing uniformed bust of von Sanders, reverse, naked warriors fighting on shore's edge with swimmer looking up from the water, across the top, 'Dardanellen 1915-1916'. Reference number 749 painted on reverse but easily removed, extremely fine and very scarce.
