Eighteenth century token, Middlesex, Meymott's silver proof halfpenny 1795, obv. MEYMOTT+&+SON+LONDON+, seated Britannia holding spear and scales, rev. SCALES+WEIGHTS+&+STEEL-YARDS+, the arms of London, edge plain (D&H 377a). Usual obverse die break beginning at about 2 o'clock and extending across most of the top of the token, younger die breaks also at 4 o'clock and 7 o'clock, light brush marks, extremely fine with nice rainbow toning and extremely rare.
