STIRLINGSHIRE, Culcreuch, Peter Speirs' cotton mill, halfpenny, a ring punch countermakr payable at Culcreuch mill* inside the circle Thos. Whyte incuse in two lines struck on the obverse of a Daniel Eccleston Lancaster halfpenny 1794 (Davis 116, S.St. 20). Coin fair, countermarks good fine and very rare.
