BOLIVIA, Philip IV (1621-1665), cob eight reales, transitional dated type, [16]52, (nearly two dates), Potosi mint, (20.6 gms), 52 good on reverse, Assayer E, (Cal.503, KM.20.3). Struck with usual weak areas, porosity on reverse, uneven roundness, silver colour tone, generally very good - fine and a very rare only date for modified type coin.
Ex. `Maravillas' wreck.
