THRACE, Odessus, Gordian III and Sarapis, (A.D. 238-244), AE 25, (13.356 grams), obv. Gordian III laureate bust to right facing Sarapis turreted bust to left, around AVT K M ANT **GORDIANO*CH, in exergue AV**G*, rev. Serapis standing to left, holding sceptre across body, around O**D*HECCEIT**WN*, E in field to left, (cf.S.3654, Vismara 2050 [same dies], Pick 2331). Black patina, good very fine and rare.
