FAUSTINA SENIOR, wife of Antoninus Pius, (died A.D.141), AE as, (10.18 g), issued after 147, Rome Mint, obv. draped bust to right of Faustina, around DIVA [AVG FAVS]TINA, rev. Aeternitas seated to left holding phoenix on globe and sceptre, around AETER[NI]TAS, S C in exergue, (S.4638, RIC 1156a, C.160). Dark green patination, good very fine, very scarce.
