ONE POUND, Collins/Allen (1915), World War I emergency issue, known as the Rainbow Pound, F 692716 F (R.20bL). Three vertical folds, horizontal fold, right edge tear (5mm) and nick at bottom of centre fold, very good and very rare.

Given to the owner as a reward for baby sitting for a bank manager in the late 1960s.
