NEW SOUTH WALES, cut quarter segment of a contemporary cast holey dollar in base silver, matrix Charles IIII (1791-1801) FM Mexico City Mint (5.08g) (Mira/Noble pp.73-4). Good fine and unique.

Mentioned by Coleman P.Hyman in 1893 as in the H.C.Dangar Collection, part of estate sold in Lawson's Sale 10 February 1953 (lot 4) bought by G.C.Heyde, in G.C.Heyde Collection Sale August 1974 (lot 205) by G.K.Gray; Spink Australia Sale 3, November 1979 (lot 289a), L.B.Nugent, Osborne Collection (Spink Noble Sale 42, lot 1286).
