1887 Proof Half Sovereign, Victoria, 1837-1901. 1887, S-3869, W&R 362 (Scarce). 3.97g. Obverse - Joachim E. Boehm's Jubilee bust with small crown and veil, J.E.B. on truncation. Reverse - J.B.Merlen's crowned garnished shield, the base of garnish splits the date inner shield features are bold with large fleur de Lis. Deep cameo proof, minimal hairlines slightly concave strike, nearly FDC and scarce.
