CENTENNIAL INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION MELBOURNE, 1888, in silver (51mm) by Stokes & Martin (C.1888/8), edge inscribed, 'William Vial And Son'. Hairlines and a few minor edge nicks, otherwise extremely fine.

See lot 2840 to same recipient, a Sydney based coach building company and read details of the company and its principal William Vial who saved the life of the Duke of Edinburgh during an attempted assassination at Clontarf during the Duke's visit to Sydney in 1868.
