Vespasian, (69-71 A.D.), silver denarius, Spanish (Tarraco) Mint, (3.10 g), obv. Laureate head of Vespasian to right around IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG, rev. IVDAEA in exergue, Jewess seated right on ground, mourning, behind her, trophy, (cf.S.2296, RSC 226, BMC 359, RIC 266). Fine, scarce.
Ex Dr V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 107 (lot 3701) and also coming from an old Hungarian collection.
