Akarnania, Leukas (Colony of Corinth), (425-400 B.C.), silver stater, (8.34 g), obv. Pegasos with curved wing flying to left, **LEU* below, rev. head of Athena to left in Corinthian helmet over a leather cap, with bow behind the head, all within incuse square. (cf.S.2269, Calciati 35/1, BCD Akarnania 188, SNG Cop.331). Very fine, toned and rare.
