ELIZABETH II, proof set, 1966 in sealed 1969 case. Some light toning and spotting, five cents rotated 45 degrees, otherwise FDC and rare.

Twelve sets of 1966 proof coins were packaged in sealed plastic cases as an experiment to test the feasability of same. Some were later sold to mint employees. Accompanying this set is a letter from Canberra Numisco dated 11 July 1983 confirming that this set is one of four sets sold to mint employees. Ex Peter McQuiggin Collection.
