PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Phraates IV, (38-2 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (11.688 grams), Seleucia mint, probably issued 278-9 (Seleucid era) = 32-31 B.C., obv. large size bare-headed bust to left with long beard, wearing diadem, wart on forehead, rev. king enthroned to right receiving palm branch from Tyche holding cornucopiae, seven line inscription, trace of year **HOS* in exergue, (cf.S.7466, cf.Sellwood 51.1-9, cf.Shore 272). Very fine and rare.
