PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Phraates IV, (38-2 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.526 grams), Seleucia mint, issued May 287 (Seleucid era) = 26 B.C., in month of May, obv. large size bare-headed bust to left with long beard, wearing diadem, wart on forehead, rev. king enthroned to right receiving palm branch from Tyche holding cornucopiae, seven line inscription, month and year **[D]AISI ZPS* in exergue, (cf.S.7466, Sellwood 51.25-31, cf.Shore 272). Very fine and very rare, an unpublished month for this year.
