ATTICA, Athens, (184-183 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, 15.96gms), obv. Athena Parthenos head to r., wearing crested Athenian helmet, rev. owl facing body to right, standing on amphora, two serpents to r.,(Thompson 80c-e, cf.S.2554). Has been mounted on edge, otherwise good fine. Ex.Noble Numismatics Sale 45(lot 4327).
