JUSTIN II, (A.D. 565-578), gold tremissis, Constantinople mint, obv. Justin II bust to right, with diadem, wearing cuirass and paludamentum, around dN IVSTI NVS PP AVI, rev. Victory advancing to right holding wreath and cross on globe, star in right field, around VICTORIA AVGVSTORVII, in exergue CONOB, (cf.S.353, cf.DO 13, cf.R.766, cf.BMC 23). Scratch on edge of obverse, weakness in places, otherwise nearly extremely fine.

This issue with the reverse ending VII is unpublished, the ending with VH requires a horizontal bar in the H, which is clearly absent in this specimen.
