CISTOPHORUS PERGAMUM MINT OBV. Bare head right Rev. COM ASI to left and right of distyle temple inscribed ROM ET AVG, containing Claudius being crowned by a female figure (RIC 120;C.3;Sear 628). A superb portrait, well centred, nearly extremely fine and very rare.
RIC suggests that this issue marked Claudius' accession.
