BIRMINGHAM, Union Copper Company pennies, 1812, clasped hands type (Davis 65-73) countermarked for Yorkshire Bradford Workhouse in two curved lines (3), Keighley in straight line and straight and curved line (2) plus in straight line on reverse JM, Keighley incuse on obverse, also JL incuse punched above R below. (Davis 50 (2), 51, 53). Also Birmingham and South Wales penny countermarked WW twice on reverse and L twice on obverse. Fine-very fine. (8)

Bradford and J.L.R. ex S.V. Hagley Collection, another Bradford acquired in 1960's, the others ex Glendining's sale 13 May 1981 (lot 258 part).
