BACTRIA, Kingdom of, Menander (c.160-145 B.C.), silver drachm, obv. laureate bust right, rev. Athena pallas standing left hurling thunderbolt and holding shield, AY monogram to right, (M.215, M.[ACW] 1772); Antialcides (c.145-135 B.C.), silver drachm, obv. bust right with king wearing kausia, rev. Zeus enthroned to left, with spear and Nike, forepart of elephant to left, (M.277, M.[ACW] 1847); Athens, (3rd century B.C.), silver tetradrachm, probably an Eastern copy, obv. Athena head right, rev. owl, (S.2547, cf.SNG Cop. 65). Last two with surface porosity, otherwise nearly very fine; good very fine; nearly fine. (3)
