Philip IV (1621-1665) Cob eight reales c. 1650?, Seville mint, (CC type 82). Edges flat but centre well struck, a square dumpy flan, fine.
Attribution is based on the distinctive crown above the royal arms and the very distinctive 'barred' lion's chest (see previous lot for example).
