Peloponnesos, Achaean League, silver hemidrachms from different mints, (c.160-150 B.C.), all with obv. Zeus head right, rev. monogram of AX and wreath around, Megara mint (1.976 grams), ME **GW* across, lyre above, Antigoneia mint (formerly Mantineia mint in Arcadia), (2.264 grams) A N across, monogram below, Tegea mint, (2.166 grams), T E across, wreath around, Messene mint (2.242 grams), M E S in angles, (cf.S.2978, 2989, 2998, 3003, Clerk 125, 195, 223, 313). Fine - very fine. (4)

Ex Diakofto Hoard (on the west coast 20km east of Aegium in Achaeia, (ICGH 262, found 1965) hoard recorded with full detailed photographic record held in the British Museum. The hoard originally acquired by Spink & Son, London c.1970.
