Macedon, Kingdom of, Alexander III, (336-323 B.C.), issue of Seleukos I, silver tetradrachm, (17.308 grams), Aradus mint, issued 311-300 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin with dotted border, rev. Zeus seated on throne to left, eagle in outstretched hand, anchor upwards and A to left, M under throne, to right **[ALE]XANDRO[U], in exergue **BASILEUS*, (cf.S.6713, Price 3359, BMC 3359a-b, M.1511, WSM Pl.xliv,A). Small flan, very fine or better, scarce.
