Italy, Campania, Neapolis (Naples), (c.340-300 B.C.), silver nomos, stater or didrachm, (7.190 grams), obv. head of nymph to right, monogram, X behind, rev. bull walking to right, crowned by Nike flying right; below **Q*, below on base line traces of **NEOPOLITWN*, (cf.S.307, Sambon 476, SNG Cop.436, SNG ANS 369 [same dies], SNG Milan 123, BMC 69). Slightly off centred on the obverse, with blue and red tone, very fine or better, scarce.
