Antoninus Pius, (A.D. 138-161), gold aureus, (7.10 grams), Rome mint, issued A.D. 145-161, obv. laureate head of Antoninus Pius to right, around ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P COS IIII, rev. LIB IIII in exergue, to left Antoninus Pius seated and Liberalitas standing, holding abacus and cornucopiae, both on a platform, citizen standing to right facing the platform, (S.-, RIC 141, C.496). Very fine/nearly very fine, and a rare type.
