Banking memorabila, Seal for the Union Bank of Australia, Gympie; Circular Note for ten pounds, Christchurch 19th century; Specimen, Australian Currency Traveller's cheques for fifty and one hundred dollars; Assorted cheques, unused from ESA, Australian Bank, National Bank, Glenhuntly (2); used from Colonial Bank of Australia, Birregurra, Dec 5 1888, Jan 3 1892 and 7 Jan 1893; Sight notes, Union Bank of Australia Launceston, 11 Dec. 1850 for £64.7.0, Commercial Bank of Van Diemens Land, Launceston, 23 April 1866 for £53.5.6 to William Dawson Grubb (1817-1879) [attorney, politician and businessman, arrived in VDL in 1832 setting up practice in Tasmania. He established a sawmill at Pipers River and represented Tamar in parliament from 1869-Feb.1879]; Commercial Bankning Company of Sydney, commercial deposit of £100 at Mudgee 2nd May 1892 for one year at 4.5% pa., cheque for £500 drawn on Bordeaux (France) as a foreign bill.
