World Rowing Championships, gold medal award, 40mm gilt with attached blue and white ribbon, 1990 held at Lake Barrington, Tasmania, medal by by Huguenin, Switzerland, obv. three oars, rev. 'Championnats Dv Monde FISA Lake Barrington 1990'. Extremely fine and very rare.
Awarded to the Romanian team and this medal specifically to Cetatean Roman Robu of Romania, an Olympian gold and silver medallist 1988 and 1992.
