IONIA, Ephesus, (280-258 B.C.), AE 16, (3.18 grams), obv. bee with open wings dividing E - **F, all within laurel wreath, rev. stag grazing to right, below magistrate's name **AGHNWR..* (Agenor), (cf.S.4406, BMC 83). Attractive deep grey green patination, extremely fine and a rare type.
