Zeugitania, Carthage, (c.255-241 B.C.), billon tetradrachm or double shekel, (13.970 grams), obv. head of Tanit to left, crowned with wreath of corn, wearing triple pendant earring, rev. free horse standing to right, star above, (S.6493, Jenkins [Pl.27, 7 dates 264-241 B.C. p.135], SNG Cop. 185 [dates 264-241 B.C.], M.103, Visona 31 [dates 255-241 B.C.]). Porous surface, some horn silver, otherwise, very fine/good fine and scarce.
