Zeugitania, Carthage, (c.255-241 B.C.), billon tetradrachm or double shekel, (13.790 grams), obv. wreathed head of Tanit to left wearing earring and necklace, dotted border, rev. horse standing to right, with a large star above horse, (S.6493 [p.600], Jenkins [Pl.27, 7 places date 264-241 B.C.], SNG Cop. 185 [similar dies, dates 264-241 B.C.], Visona 31 [dates c.255-241 B.C.]). Obverse porosity giving it a frosty surface, very fine/extremely fine, attractive, and rare.
