Acarnania, Leucas (Colony of Corinth), (350-300 B.C.), silver stater, (8.336 grams), obv. Pegasos with pointed wing flying to right, **L below, rev. head of Athena to right in Corinthian helmet over a leather cap, with an amphora with grapes hanging over and A behind head, (S.2281, Calciati 128 [p.426], BMC 87-88 [p.129, Pl.XXXVI, 15]). Uneven tone, slightly of centred on the obverse, otherwise nearly very fine.
