Macedon, Kingdom of, Alexander III, (336-323 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.655 grams), Odessos mint, issued c.280-200 B.C., obv. Herakles head in lion skin to right, rev. Zeus seated left on throne, eagle in outstretched hand, KOI on left above M A, monogram below throne of **ODH, BASILEW[S]* to right, **ALEXANDPOU to left, (cf.S.6713, Price 1168, BMC 1168, M.412). Dark tone, nearly very fine and scarce.
