CDS 5DE50, to Heard Island via Canberra, endorsed 'Hold with Heard Mail' in pen and 'Antarctic Division' in pencil on front, with three strikes of A.N.A.R.E. HEARD Is CDS 21JA52 on front, one on back, also backstamped SYDNEY (?) CDS (faint), CANBERRA CDS 12DE50. Tear through address repaired by tape, also taped across top. Various other faults.
