Most important, as issued, the first volume with pen and pencil notations, both are very scarce. (2)

This collection the Property of The Metropolitan Museum of Art was donated to that museum and was sold to finance other works of art. The most elaborate catalogue produced in the 1970's and herald the current solid interest and prices in ancient coins. A most important collection the subject of another book produced by John Ward nearly 100 years ago.
