Palestine, Judaea, Alexander Jannaeus, (103-76 B.C.), AE 13, copper prutat, (2.08 grams), obv. lily surrounded by Paleo-Hebrew inscription [Yehonatan the King], border of dots, rev. upside anchor within circle, around parts of legend **BASILEWS ALEXANDROU*, (S.6086, H.467 [7] ($150US), Meshorer 5, AJC Series A [pl.4], Meshorer 5). Off centred on the obverse, however a good example of this type, very fine and very scarce.
