Parthia, Kingdom of, Tiridates, (29-27 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (10.266 grams), Seleucia mint, issue uncertain for month or year, obv. large size bare-headed bust to left with long beard, wearing diadem, rev. king enthroned to left holding bow and sceptre, in exergue month (April)?, **..TEWM..*, under throne A, between legs A, monogram **qPL* above bow, seven line inscription, (cf.S.7496, cf.Sellwood 55.10, Shore 310). Original find patina, very fine and extremely rare variant.
A similar example was sold in Noble Numismatics Sale 52 (lot 2111) for $260.
