Italy, Campania, Neapolis (Naples), (c.340-300 B.C.), silver stater or nomos, (7.28 grams), obv. head of nymph to right, club behind, AP monogram before, rev. bull walking to right, crowned by Nike flying right above, below **Q*, below exergue **[NEOPOLITWN]*, (cf.S.300, Sambon 475, SNG Munich 97 [same dies], BMC 59, SNG Cop. 433-4). Small flan and slightly off centred on obverse and reverse, otherwise good very fine, very scarce with attractive grey and blue tone.
