Lucius Antony and Mark Antony, (41 B.C.), silver denarius, mint moving with Mark Antony, (3.73 grams), obv. head of Mark Antony to right, M. ANT. IMP. AVG. III. VIR. R.P.C.M. NERVA PROQ. P around, rev. head of Lucius Antony to right, L. ANTONIVS COS around, (S.431 [£900], Cr.517/5a, Syd.1185, C. Lucius Antony and Mark Antony 2 [£400]). Banker's mark on neck, light grey silver patina, nearly very fine and rare.
Ex. Spink, Auctions, London, 14 March 1984 (lot 399). Crawford has determined that less than 30 obverse dies were used for this type.
