T. Carisius, (46 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.99 grams), obv. bust of Victory to right, rev. Victory in biga to right, T. CARISI in exergue, (S.-, Cr. 464/4, Syd. 986, B. Carisia 2 [£65]); another (3.09 grams), obv. head of the Aphrodisian Sibyl to right, back hair in sling, rev. T. CARISIVS before Sphinx, [III VIR] in exergue, (S.321A [£150], Cr.464/1, Syd.983, B. Carisia 10 [£50]). First coin, off centred on reverse, light tone, otherwise good very fine/very fine and rare, the second fine and very scarce. (2)
