Mn. Cordius Rufus, (46 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.58 grams), obv. diademed head of Venus to right, RVFVS [S]C below and behind, rev. Cupid on dolphin to right, riding with bridle, MN CORDIVS below, (S.-, Cr.463/3, Syd.977, B.Cordia 3 [£60]). Attractive dark grey patina, weak in places, otherwise very fine/good fine and very scarce.
