Description

Faustus Cornelia Sulla, (c.56 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (4.05 grams), obv. Hercules wearing lion skin headdress to right, S C behind, rev. globe between four wreaths, lower one flanked by aplustre and ear of corn, upper one with fillet, (S.-, Cr.426/4a, Syd.882, B.Cornelia 61 [£80]). Good very fine and rare.
