L. Farsuleius Mensor, (c.75 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.89 grams), obv. Liberty diademed and draped bust to right, S C below chin, [cap] of Liberty behind, MENSOR before, rev. Roma in biga to right assisting togate figure to mount, scorpion below, L.FARSVLEI in exergue, (S.285 [£100], Cr.392/1a, Syd.789a, B. Farsuleia 1). Off centre on obverse, otherwise nearly very fine and very scarce.
