D. Silanus L.f., (c.91 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.75 grams), obv. diademed head of Salus to right, SALVS below, all within ornamental torque, rev. Victory on biga to right, grasshopper below, [D.SIL]ANVS [L.F.] in exergue, (S.-, Cr.337/2d, Syd.645b), another similar (3.57 grams), P before Salus head on the obverse, grasshopper on reverse, (Cr.337/2f, Syd.645c). Fine - very fine, both very scarce. (2)
