Aurelius Rufus, (144 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.52 grams), obv. Roma helmeted head right, X behind, rev. Jupiter in quadriga to right, hurling thunderbolt, AV RVF monogram below, ROMA in exergue, (S.-, Cr.221/1, Syd.409). Some blue and grey patina, good very fine and rare.
