Septimius Severus, (A.D. 193-211), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 207, (3.198 grams), obv. laureate head of Septimius Severus to right, around SEVERVS PIVS AVG, rev. around PM TR P XV COS III P P, Africa wearing elephant-skin head-dress standing half-right, holding basket of fruit, lion at her feet, (S.1778 [£75], RIC 207, RSC 493). Nearly extremely fine/good very fine.
