Ostrogoths, Theoderic (A.D. 493-526), in name of Anastasius I, (A.D.527-565), gold tremissis, Rome mint, (1.438 grams), obv. bust of Anastasius I to right, with diadem, wearing cuirass and paludamentum, d N ANASTA SIVS PF AVC around, rev. Victory to right, head to left, star in right field, around VICTORIA AVGVSTORVM, CONOB in exergue, (Hahn 10, Kent, Essays Baldwin, No.11 [p.69]). Extremely fine and rare.
