Bengal Presidency, Murshidabad Mint type, 1769-1790 issue, in the name of Shah Alam II (A.H.1173-1221, A.D.1759-1806), Gold sixteenth mohur, (0.752 grams), year A.H. 1203 (1788-9), Regnal Year 19, Murshidabad mint, no milling, (Pr.59, KM.87). Very fine and very rare.

The Pridmore specimen ex. Brushfield (lot 575) on a smaller flan, described as extremely fine and very rare, realised œ170. Pitchfork (Sale 48) didn't have an example.
