Family Group. Group of Four. Military Cross; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal; Capt. S.R. Warry A.I.F. MC engraved 'T/Capt. S.R. Warry 42nd Bn. A.I.F.' Last medal unnamed. Others impressed. Very fine. Trio. 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal. Lieut V.T.S. Warry 25 Bn. A.I.F. Impressed. Very fine. One group and one trio.
MC: C.G.23 May 1919. 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. This officer led his Company with marked initiative in a successful attack, reaching his objective with very few casualties, although strongly opposed by the enemy, not by machine gun fire and artillery, but by bombing from aircraft. He kept battalion headquarters constantly informed of the situation, and contributed greatly to the success of the operation.' Together with: two silver and one bronze sporting medallions (50mm) Athletic Association of the Great Public Schools of N.S.W. for 1912 and 1913; two shooting prize medals; patriotic day Maryborough medalette and two identity wristlet bands for Lieut.
