Amersfoort housed political prisoners from 1941-1945. The triangle on the note indicates use by prisoners. The Westerbork camp was a refugee camp for Jews leaving Germany during the 1930's, but after the occupation by Germany it was turned into a transit camp holding prisoners going to the death camps in Poland.
