Ex Spink Banknotes Auction Sale, London 28th April 1998 (lot 253 part, the ten shilling note illustrated). This camp held primarily German Jews. It was in operation from July 1940 to 1945. The Granville stamp issues have been noted before and this indicates the use and circulation being not restricted to Onchan alone. The notes were issued in June 1941.
